Good afternoon from a rainy York!
That’s right, I’m back in the North, training at my place of work to make cocktails and technically homeless. I say technically because I always have a home in Devon with my mum (fingers crossed she doesn’t change the locks). Also, friends from Halls last year offered me a place to stay for the month until I can move into my new home in August.
Yeah, I’m sleeping on top of a blanket in an absent housemate’s bed due to a lack of bedsheets, and yeah it’s a little strange feeling like a visitor-cum-boarder, but I’m enjoying the rough and readiness of it. And I get a double bed. STARFISH
Living all girls is odd. The movie nights don’t feature horror on the bill and no one owns any sporting gear. It’s quite peaceful, but it could be the fact that this is a house of four as opposed to ten. Whatever it is, I’m looking forward to a laid-back summer featuring internet shopping and going out for brunch. It makes me feel like a grown-up. I can pretend.
